Nearly thirty years of placement experience
Connect Association’s volunteering work draws on Adrian Bowden’s experience facilitating placements in Europe, North America and Australia, mainly through Camphill communities and partner organisations.
The aim is not simply to fill a role. A worthwhile placement needs clear expectations, appropriate support and practical preparation for both the volunteer and the host.

Clarifying opportunities, roles, preparation, practical arrangements and communication with hosts.
For host organisations
Placement design, coordination, role clarity, safeguarding arrangements and administrative support.
Programmes and accreditation
Where a placement uses an EU-funded or accredited programme, participation must be arranged through an eligible or accredited partner organisation. Connect Association does not present itself as the accrediting body.
