About Connect Association
A Norwegian non-profit dedicated to promoting global awareness and responsibility, with a special focus on young people.

Our Mission
Connect Association (Foreningen Connect) was established in Oslo, Norway, with a clear purpose: to promote global awareness and responsibility, particularly among young people.
Our mission unfolds across three core objectives:
- Awareness: Helping cultural and business organizations, as well as individuals, become conscious of the relationship between their activities and society as a whole.
- Cooperation: Promoting collaboration between people across borders, cultures, and backgrounds.
- Action: Taking active part in projects and initiatives that align with our purpose of positive change.
We are a non-political organization. Our approach focuses on working for positive outcomes rather than against negative ones. Everything we do is built on sustainable methods, including ecological agriculture and associative economic principles.

Our Values
Inspired by three guiding ideals that inform all our work:
Freedom in all that has to do with spiritual matters: education, beliefs, art, religion.
Equality in all areas where people meet as social beings.
Brotherhood where it comes to sharing commodities and covering needs.
These principles guide our work with Camphill communities, our European voluntary service programs, and all our community initiatives.
Our Story
Connect Association has its roots in community work, particularly through partnerships with the Camphill movement in Norway. Our collaboration with Solborg Camphill Village, located about one hour from Oslo between Honefoss and Jevnaker, has been central to our identity.
Through the EU Youth Programme and European Voluntary Service (Action 2), we have coordinated volunteer placements that bring young Europeans to Norway. These placements give young people hands-on experience in a multicultural therapeutic community, where they live and work alongside adults with special needs.
Our work has also extended to community food initiatives, cultural events, and artistic collaborations that bring people together across all walks of life.
